Our religious family of Francescane Missionarie di Di Gesù Bambino owes its existence to God’s initiative and the faith experience of the Foundress Madre Giuseppa Micarelli.
From its initial inspiration spring the features of our identity:
God, our Father, calls us in the Church to live according to the Gospel in the radical following of Christ, in the spirit of prayer and devotion, in a life of fraternity, apostolic giving and minority.
Our religious family, a gift of the Spirit to the Church, is of pontifical right, aggregated to the Order of Friars Minor.
From its origins, it lives and works in Franciscan spirituality and professes the Rule and Life of the Brothers and Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis.
