The month of intercultural training concluded a few days ago. During this month, their group had given themselves a name: “certain hope.” Here, before their departures, is their thank you:
Reverend Mother General and Council, dear Sisters of the Rome community,
With deep gratitude and joy in our hearts, we wish to express our sincerest thanks for this month of formation that you have so generously given us. It has been a time of grace, of spiritual and human growth, during which we have been able to draw from the richness of our charism and the wisdom that flows from a life dedicated to the Gospel, in the spirit of Saint Francis and Saint Clare.
It has also been a great gift to experience the richness of interculturality. In the diversity of faces, languages, and cultures, we have found a true reflection of the Kingdom of God. Thank you for opening the doors to a fraternal, simple, and profound sharing, where each encounter became a space of communion and mutual enrichment.
With deep gratitude in our hearts, we give thanks for the precious opportunity to learn about the origins of our religious family—a story woven with the courage, love, and tireless dedication of our Mother, Sister Maria Giuseppa of the Child Jesus—whose life continues to be a light and an inspiration for our own path of consecration. It was a true joy to be in L’Aquila, the place where our family was born and where God’s dream took shape through generous hands and open hearts. Walking in the footsteps of our foundation was an immense blessing—a return home, to our roots—to renew the vocation that unites us and to remember, with joy and commitment, that we are daughters of this holy history, called today to continue it with fidelity and hope.
In a very special way, we are grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Jubilee of Consecrated Life in Rome. To live that moment of grace together with Pope Leo and so many consecrated men and women from all over the world was a powerful testimony that religious life is still alive, dynamic, and full of hope. It has been an encouragement to keep walking with joy, faithfulness, and dedication.
With affection and gratitude in Christ and Mary,
